
The Band -

Chris Korb -
Bass guitar & vocals. Chris has been playing music for close to 400 years (counting all his former lives). In this life he recently played on various street corners in England and Spain to earn his food and beer money. He graduated from Berry in 2006 with degrees in Spanish and English and is now a teacher in Metro Atlanta.

Phil Lawson -
Alto sax, flute & vocals. Phil has close to 40 years of musical experience, from doo-wop singing groups in the late fifties to jazz and funk in the nineties. Most recently, he played with his own quintet, Philer-Up, in Santa Barbara, CA, for seven years before relocating in 2005 to Georgia. He received an AA degree in Performing Arts from Delgado Community College, New Orleans, LA, while directing the college jazz band and he has performed and traveled in Europe, Asia, and Mexico.

Jeff Lidke -
Hand percussion & vocals. Jeff's formative training is in classical North Indian percussion, primarily tabla, which he studied in Nepal under the tutelage of Homnath Upadhyaya. He has also studied Indian vocal music as well as African and Middle Eastern drumming. He has performed with numerous classical and Indian fusion groups, including Dave Stringer, Krishna Das, Bhagwan Das, and Shanti Shivani. He teaches religions at Berry College.

Lauren Moneyhan -
Vocals & flute. Lauren studied voice with Rick Chiappetta and has been playing classical flute for twelve years. She holds an M.B.A. in Business Administration and currently works for AT & T in Marietta Georgia.

Kash "Kailesh" Patel -
Hand percussion and vocals. Kash cultivated his love of music as a student growing up in India. A successful businessman in Rome, Georgia, he has received formal training in percussion with Jeffrey Lidke.

Jim Watkins -
Guitar, hand percussion & vocals. Jim spent his early years in the South's three major musical cities: Memphis, where he was born and where he lived until age twelve; New Orleans, where he attended 7th and 8th grades in the city's musically famous Lower Ninth Ward; and Nashville, where he lived in his teens and twenties and where most of his family still resides. He teaches English at Berry College.
